We usually dispatch on a Monday when a little mobile Post Office (a van… It’s amazing!) visits our village..
The post lady, Wendy, is lovely and doesn’t moan about the number of parcels we turn up with! It’s also great because there usually aren’t any long queues like we’d find at our nearest high street Post Office.
This is such an important service for a rural community, so it’s important for us to show our support by using it!
We use 3 different services when dispatching your orders; Standard Delivery: Royal Mail 2nd Class Signed For (Delivery aim 2-3 working days), Special Delivery: Royal Mail Special Delivery by 1pm* (Arrives day after dispatch) and Courier: For larger / heavier orders (Usually arrives 2 days after dispatch). The service used is determined by the weight and value of your order.
Our P&P charges therefore take into account the weight and value of your order (as well as packaging to keep your items safe), that way if there are any mishaps between your parcel leaving us and reaching you, it is covered.
We are committed to using sustainable packaging wherever possible. Most of our packaging is recyclable; our boxes can be reused or recycled, packing peanuts are biodegradable and can also be dissolved in water, etc.
Any plastic packaging that we do use, such as bubble wrap, is what we have received from deliveries and reused ourselves.
We will exchange items or give you a full refund for items, provided that they are returned within 14 days of delivery in their original condition and packaging.
Please advise us the reason for return by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org within 3 days of delivery of your item. You will then have a further 7 days to return the item. You must return the goods in original packaging. Please note all refunds will exclude original delivery charge. All refunds will be credited to the purchaser’s original method of payment.
